I grew up in Portland, Oregon. My passion for blending photography and art started in the early 1980s as I was beginning my travels through the Middle East and Asia. I learned photography by shooting on film and have found it to be an enjoyable challenge to alter my craft using many different medias to make my photographs even more unique.
I utilize techniques blending film and post-digital manipulation to create a painterly look giving my images a memorable effect, while also keeping the mixture of light and form true to the art of the photographic image.
