Northwest Framing cares about our communities and the environment. Our sustainability practices include using responsible packing materials, sustainable sourcing of products and materials in manufacturing, and recycling when possible. As environmental stewardship is part of our core values, we strive to do our part in helping curb global climate change.

Northwest Framing made a contribution to American Forests in support of its mission to protect and restore threatened forest ecosystems and expand urban forests and greenspaces. Trees will be planted in a wildland location where they are most needed to help mitigate climate change. Together, we can all make a difference.

Sustainable Sourcing

In our supplier and sourcing decisions we factor in the environmental impact.

Over 75% of all our products are sourced domestically.  We feature North American soft and hard woods and environmentally friendly woods. All our wood moulding suppliers source wood from Managed Forests and do not use endangered species.

100% of our matboard, glazing, mounting board products and aluminum frames are sourced within the US and we offer FSC certified paper and mat boards.

REDUCE. REUSE. RECYCLE.

Cardboard, metal scrap, electronics, fluorescent lightbulbs, chemicals and toner are not discarded as trash.

Our Stores

Boxes and packing materials are sent back to our production facility for processing, including foam wrap, aluminum from metal frames and clear glass. Our organization will re-use the materials until they are unusable. Matboard remnants from framing are repurposed or re-used as packaging.
