Street of Dreams

There’s still time to visit the NW Natural Street of Dreams, running through August 27 just outside Portland, Oregon. The annual event features residential homes with “dream” decor, appliances, fixtures and more.

While we were drooling over the gleaming kitchens and fairytale dressing rooms, we were also interested in how designers use art and framing to personalize family homes.

Modern Minimalism

We love framing art to enhance it visually and also to help preserve it. But there are times to let the art speak for itself, as shown in these examples (click to see enlarged).

Whether using simple metal frames or printing your favorite art on frameless mediums like ChromaPrint, we can help you create contemporary, minimalist wall decor.

Art for Children’s Rooms

Kid’s rooms are such a fun opportunity to get creative. Playful choices included Lego-inspired posters, vintage games, and baseball paraphernalia. A grouping of black frames like the one shown below left would be a great way to show off your child’s drawings, but the ideas are really endless.

Mirrors

What adds more dimension to a room than a fabulous mirror? We can order mirror glass and frame it your specifications.

Framed Typography

Some of us may be a bit tired of “Live Laugh Love,” but typographical prints don’t have to end there! Framed sayings, poetry and inspirational quotes can serve as happy reminders of what’s important to us.

Reclaimed Wood & Metal

We can’t get enough of the warmth you get from “old” wood and metal.

Fortunately we offer lots of moulding choices to fit this decor. Visit your local frame shop to create your own personalized wall art!
